As part of Still in my mind: Gurindji location, experience and visuality exhibiting at HBRG, Gatakers, HBRG and Artback NT proudly present Retrac(k)ing country and (s)kin.

This powerful multimedia work forms a part of 'Still in my mind: Gurindji location, experience and visuality' the nationally touring exhibition from Artback NT currently exhibiting at Hervey Bay Regional Gallery. Gatakers, in partnership with HBRG, will be launching the work in time for NAIDOC Week 2022.

Retrac(k)ing country and (s)kin by Curator and participating artist Brenda L Croft will take over the top floor of the recently refurbished Gatakers Creative Space at 311 Kent Street and will be on display until Sunday 21 August.

Still in My Mind: Gurindji location, experience and visuality is an Artback NT Touring Exhibition curated by Brenda L Croft, produced in association with UNSW Galleries, UQ Art Museum and Karungkarni Art and Culture Aboriginal Corporation, with support from Visions of Australia, Australian Research Council Discovery Indigenous Award, National Institute for Experimental Arts, ARC Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language and the Berndt research Foundation.
