Dhaanban djuruman: Community, Culture & Art

Hervey Bay Regional Gallery and Fraser Coast Libraries welcome you to join us in this day of events and invite community to come together to share knowledge and creativity.

Dhaanban djuruman encompass the Butchulla words meaning ‘community growth’ and this vibrant event will evoke a sense of warmth and connection in the Fraser Coast community.

Celebrating the exhibition closing weekend of Mia Boe: Guwinganj & Picturing the End, the event showcases Fraser Coast Libraries' Seed Library: Plant to Plate and the State Library of Queensland's 'How Do You Library' campaign.

FCRC have collaborated with the Maryborough Women’s Yarning Group Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation to facilitate a drop in space for visitors to share Cultural knowledge through activities such as weaving, message stick painting, and yarning.
