Fraser Coast educators are invited to preview three new exhibitions at HBRG.

Be the first to see QAGOMA touring exhibitions, Asia Pacific Video and Asia Pacific Contemporary: Three Decades of APTalongside a new solo exhibition by local artist Matilda Davis, The White Man's Web.

Asia Pacific Video focuses on performance, experimentation and theatricality in video art from the 1960s to the present, while Asia Pacific Contemporary features works that have appeared in the Asia Pacific Triennial since its debut in the 1990s, and across media from painting and sculpture to video, performance and works on paper. Matilda Davis' The White Man’s Web responds to the suffering of Country, specifically Sea Country, confronting the colonial and capitalist legacy of extractive and exploitative use of land and water.

Hear about the making of these projects with local artist Matilda Davis and visiting curator Rueben Keehan, Curator, Contemporary Asian Art, Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art.
