Together Through Isolation: Emergency Resilience Workshop
Prepare yourself and your community for stressful situations in this intro to disaster preparedness workshop.
Resilience starts with YOU! If you are someone who needs help in an emergency, you may need to rely on people you know. And if you can take care of yourself in an emergency, it is worth thinking about how you could help others.
As the frequency and intensity of natural disasters continue to rise due to climate change, the risk of homelessness also increases. Displaced individuals often struggle to find alternative housing options, especially if their financial resources are already limited.
In this workshop you will learn how to identify the risks for yourself and your community and how to develop a plan to prepare for stressful situations.
